Training for the NFL One of the most important decisions an athlete can make in preparing for the NFL Draft is how to handle their training. Their are a variety of theories on this subject. Some players believe that they are best prepared by leaving school and going to a specialized training camp away from all distractions and residing with other athletes who are preparing for the draft. Another school of thought is that the players are best served by remaining on their campus to maintain the continuity with their strength and conditioning program. This strategy provides the athlete with familiar facilities and a built in support structure that can help them through the challenging period between their last college game and the NFL Draft. Truthfully, there is no answer that is right for all players. The strategy depends on the available resources for the player, the level of competition they faced in college, whether they are rehabbing from an injury and whether they have a specific drill or time that they are trying to improve. Below we list training programs and their contact information. Please remember that this list does not constitute an endorsement of these services by TFY Draft. Each athlete should interview and evaluate all training options and costs before making their final decision. |
